Q4 will setup email alerts to be sent to a list of subscribers any time certain types of content are added to a client’s site. Clients can pick and choose what type of postings would trigger alerts, the most common being: Press Releases, Events & Presentations, Financial Reports, SEC Filings, and an End of Day Stock Quote.
We can import existing lists of email subscribers if you have them. If so, please provide this list(s) in excel/CSV format. To avoid losing any new subscribers it is recommended this is sent as close to the time of launch as possible.
‘From’ Address for Outbound Email - When an email or alert is sent out to your distribution lists, it will have a ‘from’ name and email address associated with it. To enable your email setup through SendGrid, the default info email that will be used is no-reply@q4inc.com.
ReversePath Address for Outbound Email – In order to capture emails that do not make it to its intended destination, the return path indicates where non-delivery receipts – or bounce messages – are to be sent. By default this address is set to no-reply@q4inc.com.
Reply-To Address for Outbound Email - You are also able to set an alternate email as the ‘reply to’ address. This account would receive any direct replies from your outbound emails. By default this address is set to ‘no-reply@q4inc.com’ however this address can correspond to an active email address managed by your company. Please confirm what address we should use.
Support Address/Page Address - If someone wants to subscribe to an alert, they receive an opt in email alert that is sent to their email address and we include this statement: "If the link above is not clickable, please copy and paste it into your browser. If you did not request for any subscriptions and unsure of why you received this email - please contact support@companyname.com. “ Please provide an email address to use, or specify a page (e.g - webform, corporate contact page), this copy can also be removed.
Privacy Policy – On the email alert signup page we recommend including a link to your company’s privacy policy. Please confirm we can link to the corporate site’s privacy policy page.
